Processing data collected via our website

The contact form

When you address us a request for information via our contact form, you provide us the following personal data:

This information is solely used to answer your requests for information and allow us to better know you. To this end, they may be shared with our partners but will in no way be used for other purposes or disclosed to third parties without your consent.

Processing the data collected via the coChange application

The coChange app collects information through the intentional contribution of its users’ community, in order to get exchange office info.

Collected data categories

To provide our service, we get information related to you geographical location:

  • country extracted from your IP address,
  • coordinates once your allow us to get it

and your mobile terminal:

  • device os
  • and os version.

At each installation, an unique ID is generated and assigned to the user’s device. We do not process any nominative information unless the user decides to log-in. Thus, we have no ability in linking the collected data to an identified person unless the person decides to log-in using Facebook or Google+.

Users can then willfully provide us with several kind of data:

  • transaction rates
  • transaction fees type and values
  • suggestions about updates (error, duplicate, etc.)
  • comments about the currency exchange offices
  • rate boards snapshots

We get the following details once an user decides to log-in:

  • firstname
  • lastname
  • gender
  • user email

Data use

The data are made available to the other users of the application for free.

We may also use these data for statistical purposes.

Data sharing

We are likely to share or transfer your personal information with

  • our potential affiliates,
  • our services providers (hosting website, payment service, etc.) within the framework of providing the services requested by Purple Task Force
  • with a potential buyer in the event of the sale of some or all of our assets.

We will of course demand the data usage to be consistent with the regulations and with the use you agreed for by accepting the user license Terms and conditions.

We do not share your personal information to third parties other than the cases stated herein without your express and preliminary consent or unless in the following circumstances:

  • In case of obligation imposed by Law ;
  • In the context of establishing and/or defending our intellectual property rights ;
  • When we reckon it is necessary for the protection of our customers, users or employees whilst not questioning people’s fundamental rights and liberties

Security

We have the protection of our users’ privacy very much at heart.

Every collected data are not per se and in every case personal data; however given the nature of the data and the inherent risk to data processing, we devote special attention to the protection of the information that are subjected to appropriate logical, physical and organizational security measures.

In this way:

  • The application only connects to the server using a secured HTTPS connection,
  • Personal data (firstname, lastname and e-mail) are stored ciphered into our database,
  • For each app re-installation on the user’s terminal, the device ID is renewed (iOS),
  • Our production and archiving servers are secured and hosted in a data center in Liechtenstein; the access are secured.
  • In the case of a data transfer to a potential customer, they will be anonymized
